Janelle created KidGuide as an answer to her own prayers as a former Teacher, Mother of four, and Astrologer. As a young parent, Janelle, like many parents, wished her children came with a divine guide. She was delighted to discover astrology, and quickly began using it to get to know her children, her style of parenting, and attempt to raise them as closely as possible with the way they were designed by God.

Soon, her friends came knocking, and she started doing readings not only for her friends and neighbors, but for their children as well. Janelle began to wonder how she could get this information into the hands of more people, without having to do the reading herself.. which became more difficult as her family grew. Shortly after, the KidGuide App was born.

Bio:

Janelle holds a BA in Sociology from the University of Tampa, an MA in Education from the University of Central Florida, and she has completed Graduate Coursework at the University of Notre Dame in Educational Leadership. Janelle started her career in the school system, teaching Middle School English and Social Studies. Once she started her family, she looked for ways to stay home while still feeding her creative drive, which led to a successful marketing and consulting company in her late twenties. Currently, Janelle is a Doctoral Student at St. Leo University, studying Applied Theology. As a Theologian, she focuses primarily on the reconciliation between Christianity and Ancient Spirituality. Finally, Janelle is a certified Light-filled Astrologer, and the creator of KidGuide.
